How much does a container rental cost?
The introductory rate for an eligible 20-foot container is $149 per month for the first three months. From month four, rent is $199 per month. A three-month minimum means $447 in base rent. Pickup, applicable tax, and any quoted extra services are additional. Your written quote shows the charges before you commit.
Is delivery included?
One standard delivery and placement is included for approved addresses in our local promotional delivery area. We review the exact address and access before confirming eligibility. Longer-distance trips, difficult access, special equipment, and extra moves are quoted separately. Included delivery does not include pickup.
How much is pickup?
Pickup is priced by the retrieval route and access at your property. We state the amount and when it is due in your written quote before you sign. Keep the container empty and truck access clear when it is time for collection.
What is the minimum rental term?
The introductory offer has a three-month minimum. After that, the rental continues month-to-month at $199. If your plans change during the minimum term, contact us before arranging collection; the signed agreement explains any remaining rent or cancellation charges.
Which size should I choose?
A 20-foot container has a nominal 20 by 8-foot footprint and is a useful starting point for a renovation or tools and materials. A 40-foot container has about twice the floor area and needs more delivery space. The best size depends on your item measurements, how you will pack, and whether you need an access aisle. Tell us what you plan to store and we will help you compare.
Will a container fit in my driveway?
The container footprint is only part of the space needed. The truck must be able to enter, turn or reverse safely, raise equipment, and leave after placement. Send your driveway and placement details with your quote request. The hauler confirms the actual clearance and ground requirements for the proposed unit and truck.
How quickly can you deliver?
Delivery depends on available containers, the hauler’s schedule, weather, and your site review. You can request a preferred date, but it becomes a delivery appointment only after we confirm the unit, access, agreement, payment, and time window with you.
Where can I request delivery?
Request delivery in Morganton, Marion, Nebo, Lake James, and Hickory in western North Carolina. Enter your ZIP code and address to request a location-specific quote. A city or ZIP match does not, by itself, confirm included delivery or safe truck access.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval?
Rules depend on the property, jurisdiction, placement, and duration. Before delivery, check with the applicable planning office and, where relevant, your property owner or HOA. We can provide the proposed container size and placement information, but a rental quote is not a zoning or permit approval.
Will my belongings stay dry?
A steel container provides enclosed storage, but it is not a climate-controlled room. Temperature changes can cause condensation. Store dry items, allow airflow, protect moisture-sensitive materials, and check the contents regularly. Ask about the specific unit’s condition and report leaks promptly.
Are the containers climate controlled?
The standard containers covered by this offer do not have heating, cooling, or humidity control. They are not suitable for every item. Discuss sensitive furniture, electronics, documents, and temperature-dependent materials before renting.
Are my belongings insured?
Do not assume the monthly rent includes insurance for your belongings. Ask your insurer whether your contents are covered in a rented container at your location. Coverage, exclusions, and any separate requirements need to be confirmed before storage.
What can I store?
Ordinary dry household items, business supplies, and permitted tools and materials may be suitable. Do not store people or animals, illegal items, explosives, fuel, hazardous or flammable materials, perishables, or anything prohibited by the agreement or applicable rules. Ask about an item if you are unsure.
Can you move the container while it is full?
Our initial service is delivery and pickup of empty storage containers for use at your property. It is not a household-moving or freight service. Empty the unit before collection or relocation unless a separate service has been expressly agreed.
What happens after the first three months?
Your monthly base rent changes to $199 starting in month four. The rental then continues month-to-month under your agreement. The first three months are introductory pricing, not a recurring discount that resets when an invoice is issued.
What will I pay upfront?
Your written quote identifies the first rent payment, pickup charge if collected in advance, any refundable deposit, applicable taxes, and separately quoted delivery or access charges. A refundable deposit is separate from rent. We do not charge a card just because you request a quote.
What if I need to cancel or have trouble paying?
Contact us as early as possible. The written agreement sets the notice, cancellation, overdue-payment, and early-return terms. Do not assume returning the container early cancels the three-month minimum. We will explain the next steps for your rental.
How do I prepare for pickup?
Request collection, empty and sweep the unit, remove your lock when instructed, and keep the doors and truck route accessible. Tell us about new obstacles, soft ground, locked gates, or changes to the property. Collection is confirmed with the hauler rather than booked by selecting a date online.
